As members of Theta Xi, we recognize our responsibility to our chapter, college, country, and community. We are committed to making a positive impact on the world around us. Through fundraising initiatives and community service projects, we strive to address local needs and support worthy causes. By actively participating in these endeavors, we cultivate a sense of civic duty and inspire others to give back. Our involvement in community service not only benefits those in need but also strengthens our bond as brothers and enhances our understanding of the importance of giving back.
Our Philanthropies
Our national philanthropy is the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Multiple sclerosis is an unpredictable disease of the central nervous system. MS disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body.
Symptoms also vary from person to person and can include:
Fatigue
Memory difficulties
Mood changes
Mobility issues
Numbness
Pain
Tingling
Vision impairment
Our other national philanthropy is Habitat for Humanity.
Habitat for Humanity partners with people in your community, and all over the world, to help them build or improve a place they can call home. With your support, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and for their families.
Our local philanthropy is Abby's Acre
They are a veteran run non-profit sustainable urban market garden. It’s a mouthful, but so is their produce!
Through this organization, we have also had the opportunity to work with Acadiana Animal Aid. They are an animal shelter located in Carencro, LA. They work nonstop to give every dog and cat a home.
