Brotherhood

One of the ways we cultivate our brotherhood is through our Semesterly Brotherhood Retreat. This 3-day weekend in the woods allows us to escape the dramas and stresses of college life and grow as brothers. This is a time for brothers to open up, share their thoughts and feelings, and be surrounded by the brotherly love that strengthens us. Away from the distractions of daily life, we engage in activities that foster camaraderie, such as hiking, fishing, and cooking together. These shared experiences create lasting bonds and deepen our understanding of one another.

Beyond recreational activities, our brotherhood retreats also provide opportunities for personal reflection and spiritual growth. These moments of introspection and collective purpose strengthen our commitment to our fraternity's values and our bond as brothers.

By prioritizing these retreats, we invest in the long-term health and vitality of our brotherhood. We return to campus refreshed, reconnected, and ready to face the challenges ahead, knowing that we have a strong support system to rely on.

Being a member of Theta Xi is a lifelong commitment. Our brotherhood extends far beyond the four years we spend on campus. Our incredible alumni network provides unwavering support and guidance, offering us countless opportunities for personal and professional growth.

One of the highlights of our year is the annual Alumni Crawfish Boil. This event brings together alumni from all generations, from recent graduates to brothers who have been members for over 50 years. With 2,000 pounds of crawfish and an entire bar rented out for the day, it's a celebration of our rich history and enduring traditions. 

The Crawfish Boil is more than just a party; it's an opportunity to learn from the experiences of our predecessors, strengthen bonds with current brothers, and cultivate the traditions that have defined our fraternity since its founding in 1946.
